As well as his position a Director of Meadow Blue Chris is a Ouse Valley Energy Service C.I.C. (“Ovesco”) Director, an active supporter of Transition Town Lewes and a Director of Community Energy South. Chris trained as a designer at the Royal College of Art and then worked in the construction industry. He now uses his skills to finance, manage and develop community owned renewable energy projects. Since 2007 Chris has worked as a project manager for Ovesco, which included running a grant scheme for microgeneration for Lewes District Council, managing Ovesco’s community owned PV projects and mentoring community groups across the South East to set up their own local energy co-operatives, which resulted in Ovesco winning an Ashden Award in 2014.
